Canadian University Dubai hosts diplomats and students at City Walk campus to mark the 157th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation.
Canadian University Dubai (CUD) marked Canada Day with a series of cultural events at its City Walk campus, bringing together students, faculty, and diplomats to observe the 157th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation. The event serves as a focal point for the university’s 180 different nationalities, emphasizing the educational ties between the UAE and North America. Diplomatic Presence and Cultural Exchange The celebrations were attended by high-ranking officials including Radha Krishna Panday, Ambassador of Canada to the UAE, and Jean-Philippe Linteau, Consul General of Canada in Dubai. The diplomatic delegation addressed the student body, focusing on the bilateral cooperation in higher education and the integration of Canadian academic standards within the Dubai Private Education sector. The program included traditional Canadian music, culinary showcases, and historical exhibitions.
