BI Group establishes Dubai base to launch Meydan Horizon residential projects

BI Group, the Kazakhstan-founded construction and development conglomerate, has established a permanent Dubai-based operation to manage a growing portfolio of residential and mixed-use projects in the UAE. The company confirmed on Thursday, 1 October, that it is currently evaluating additional opportunities following its initial entry into the local market with three residential developments. Expansion into Meydan Horizon The developer announced its next project launch will take place in the Meydan Horizon district. This move serves as the primary driver for the group’s transition from individual building projects to large-scale, master-planned communities. The company aims to replicate its "BigVille" model in Dubai, a concept that integrates residential units with public landscaping, retail, and educational infrastructure. BI Group currently ranks 131st on the ENR 2026 Top 250 Global Contractors list. In 2025, the group delivered 2.4 million square metres of residential space globally, a volume that exceeds the annual delivery of several major developers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, according to Cushman & Wakefield Veritas data. Long-term UAE Strategy To oversee its Gulf operations, the company has appointed a locally based leadership team.
