Bentley Motors has marked its largest-ever presence at the iconic Goodwood Festival of Speed by unveiling a series of highly intricate technical paint finishes developed by its bespoke commissioning division, Mulliner. The undisputed highlight of the luxury manufacturer's showcase was the public debut of an innovative vertical ombré paint finish, meticulously applied to a high-performance Bentayga Speed. This advanced application takes custom personalization to a completely new level, transitioning seamlessly between Chestnut and Onyx across the vertical planes of the vehicle, ensuring that every individual exterior panel features a complex, hand-painted color gradient. The execution of the Ombré by Mulliner finish is an intensive engineering and artisanal process that requires two highly specialized paint technicians to dedicate 56 hours of painstaking hand-application at the historic factory in Crewe.
