A suicide bombing at the Quetta railway station in southwestern Pakistan killed at least 26 people and injured more than 50 others on Saturday morning. The explosion occurred at approximately 8:45 AM local time as passengers gathered on the platform to board the Jaffar Express destined for Peshawar. Casualties and Emergency Response Hospital officials at the Sandeman Provincial Hospital confirmed that the death toll included both civilians and military personnel. Initial reports indicate at least 14 soldiers were among the deceased. Emergency services transported 62 injured individuals to nearby medical facilities, with several remaining in critical condition. Provincial authorities declared a state of emergency at all local hospitals to manage the influx of casualties.
