DUBAI, UAE — AW Rostamani Group (AWR Group), one of the United Arab Emirates’ most prominent multi-sector business conglomerates, has published its comprehensive 2025 Sustainability and Impact Report, detailing a significant decarbonization breakthrough. The group achieved a major 23% reduction in its Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions, reducing total operational footprint from 52,702 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent in 2024 to 40,381 tonnes in 2025. This dramatic operational shift highlights how the UAE's traditional automotive and logistics powerhouses are aligning their corporate strategies with the country's national "Net Zero by 2050" strategic initiative. Rather than relying on simple carbon offsets, AWR Group’s reduction was propelled by direct operational enhancements, facility modernizations, and a massive investment in renewable clean energy assets. Solar Expansion and Circular Workshop Operations A central contributor to the group's reduced emissions profile was a dramatic increase in onsite solar energy production. Total solar generation across AWR Group's physical infrastructure surged from 218 MWh in 2024 to 2,660 MWh in 2025.
