In an important development for the regional knowledge economy, the American University of Sharjah has finalized a strategic alliance with the Global Centre for AI Excellence to develop advanced certification pathways focused on responsible governance and AI-driven organizational transformation.
SHARJAH — The American University of Sharjah’s (AUS) Executive Education and Professional Development division has signed a comprehensive, strategic collaboration agreement with the Global Centre for AI Excellence (GCAIE). The historic partnership is engineered specifically to build national artificial intelligence capability, providing direct, institutional support to the rapid growth of the AI economy across both government and enterprise sectors within the United Arab Emirates. Under the definitive terms of the agreement, AUS and GCAIE will jointly design and deliver a highly sophisticated portfolio of executive education programs, professional certifications, and institutional capability-building initiatives. The entire ecosystem will be aligned directly with the Global AI Excellence Model (GAIEM)—GCAIE’s proprietary structural framework designed to guide public and private entities through the complex stages of digital transformation.
