Japanese audio technology manufacturer Audio-Technica has officially restructured its regional distribution by appointing new wholesale partners to cover the GCC markets. The move establishes a formal sales network for both the professional and consumer audio sectors across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain. New Distribution Partnerships The company confirmed that GSL Professional will serve as the primary distributor for professional products in several of these territories. This partnership focuses on high-end audio solutions, including microphones, wireless systems, and monitoring equipment used in broadcast, live events, and commercial installations. For the consumer market, Audio-Technica has entered into an agreement with Thomsun Trading to handle its range of headphones and turntables. The announcement on Tuesday, 28 July, follows a strategic review of the brand’s availability in the Middle East. By delegating distribution to regional specialists, Audio-Technica aims to reduce lead times and improve technical support for local vendors.
