An Argentinian student pilot successfully landed a light aircraft alone after his flight instructor jumped from the cockpit to his death during a training session. The incident occurred on Tuesday near the city of Rosario, leaving the trainee to navigate the aircraft back to the ground under extreme duress. Mid-Air Emergency over Santa Fe The flight involved a Cessna 152, a standard two-seat trainer aircraft, which had departed from the Rosario Flying Club (Club de Planeadores Rosario). According to local authorities in the Santa Fe province, the instructor, identified as 46-year-old Fernando Hugo Cejas, reportedly opened the cockpit door and jumped while the plane was at an altitude of approximately 1,000 feet (300 metres). The student, a 19-year-old trainee whose identity has been withheld by officials, was left in sole command of the aircraft. Despite the sudden departure of his instructor and the psychological shock of the event, the student managed to maintain control of the Cessna.
