Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd has established a new regional headquarters in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) to facilitate its expansion across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The global insurance and reinsurance firm has secured a Category 4 license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to operate within the financial district. Strategic Expansion in MENA The new Dubai office serves as a hub for Allied World’s regional operations, focusing on providing specialized insurance solutions. The firm’s initial service offering in the DIFC includes professional lines, casualty, energy, and construction insurance. By establishing a physical presence in Dubai, the company aims to provide localized underwriting expertise to brokers and clients in the region.
