Dubai Charity Association launches 2026 education support campaign for 15 countries

The 'Alif Baa' initiative will provide laptops, tuition fees, and school infrastructure to students in the UAE and 15 countries globally.

The Dubai Charity Association (DCA) launched its 2026 global education support campaign on Wednesday, 19 August, targeting students in the UAE and 15 countries worldwide. Operating under the slogan “Alif Baa,” the initiative provides school supplies, tuition coverage, and infrastructure development for disadvantaged communities. Global Educational Infrastructure The 2026 campaign is designed to provide logistical and financial support to students facing economic hardship. Key components include the distribution of school uniforms, bags, and laptops, alongside a dedicated programme to sponsor the education of orphans. Beyond individual support, the DCA confirmed it will fund the construction and equipment of schools, Quran memorisation centres, and classrooms in regions lacking formal educational facilities. Eng. Adel Al Suwaidi, Board Member, Treasurer, and Director of Operations at Dubai Charity Association, stated that the campaign focuses on developing communities where education serves as a pillar for long-term stability. Al Suwaidi noted that the association aims to create environments where children can reach their potential and contribute to their local economies through improved literacy and vocational skills.
