Aldar Properties, Abu Dhabi’s largest listed developer, has acquired a portfolio of logistics assets in Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (Kezad) for Dh650 million ($177 million). The transaction marks a major expansion of the company’s industrial real estate holdings as demand for high-grade warehousing continues to rise in the UAE capital. Portfolio details and asset scale The acquisition includes operational logistics facilities alongside land earmarked for future development. By integrating these assets, Aldar increases its total logistics gross leasable area (GLA) to more than 600,000 square meters. The assets are situated within Kezad, the UAE’s largest industrial and free trade zone, which provides direct access to Khalifa Port and major highway networks connecting Abu Dhabi to Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
