AL AIN - Highlighting the city’s vibrant sporting culture and its enduring role as a welcoming gathering place for regional youth, Al Ain is officially hosting the International Junior Volleyball Championship from August 30 through September 4, 2026. Organised by Al Ain Sports Games Company and staged at the world-class Khalifa bin Zayed Sports Hall, the six-day championship brings together six of the Arabian Gulf’s most accomplished junior volleyball clubs for a thrilling series of competitive matches that celebrate athletic dedication, sportsmanship, and regional camaraderie. The prestigious tournament features an impressive roster of regional sporting institutions. The host nation is proudly represented by Al Ain Club alongside Baniyas Club, both of whom have developed renowned volleyball academies that consistently feed talent into the UAE national team. Joining them are four formidable contenders from across the GCC: Al Arabi and Al Rayyan from Qatar, Muharraq Club from the Kingdom of Bahrain, and Al Kuwait Club from the State of Kuwait.
