Ajman announces Prophet Muhammad Birthday holiday for government sector

Government entities in Ajman will observe a public holiday on Friday, 28 August 2026, to mark the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for the Islamic year 1448 AH. The announcement was confirmed by the Ajman Government’s Department of Human Resources on Tuesday, 25 August. Official operations across all government departments in the emirate are scheduled to resume on Monday, 31 August 2026.
