ADSB (Abu Dhabi Ship Building) has secured a vessel construction contract valued at $354 million (AED 1.3 billion), marking a record expansion for the UAE-based maritime manufacturer. The deal establishes a multi-year production pipeline for high-performance vessels, strengthening the country’s domestic defense and commercial shipbuilding capabilities. Expansion of Naval Manufacturing The contract focuses on the delivery of sophisticated maritime platforms designed for tactical and surveillance operations. ADSB, a subsidiary of the EDGE Group, will utilize its 300,000-square-meter shipyard in Mussafah to execute the order. This facility remains the primary hub for naval construction in the region, equipped to handle complex integrations of combat systems and electronic warfare suites. The $354 million haul follows a series of international engagements where ADSB has sought to export UAE-made naval technology to markets in Southeast Asia and Africa.
