ABU DHABI — The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has processed approximately 447,603 electronic requests during the first half of 2026, demonstrating remarkable performance in scaling judicial digitization, operational efficiency, and algorithmic case management. The comprehensive semi-annual performance indicators report released by the Department highlights how the integration of advanced smart systems and automated workflows has transformed litigation from traditional courtroom proceedings into an agile, accessible, and paperless digital ecosystem. Under the strategic direction of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, the emirate’s legal system has pursued an aggressive institutional modernization agenda. Central to these outcomes is the Department’s remote visual litigation architecture, which facilitated 317,266 remote court hearings during the initial six months of 2026—a 6.25 percent increase compared to the corresponding period last year.
