ADIHEX 2026 grows 17% as exhibition expands to 10 days in Abu Dhabi

The 21st edition of ADIHEX features 2,405 brands and expands to 107,000 square metres to meet global demand.

The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2024 launched its 21st edition on Friday, 28 August, recording a 17 percent increase in participation with 2,405 registered companies and brands. Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Group CEO of ADNEC Group, confirmed the exhibition now spans 107,000 square metres to accommodate the rise in international demand. Extended Schedule and Expanded Scale For the first time in the event’s history, the duration has been extended to 10 days. The 2026 edition, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, features 15 specialised sectors. These include falconry, equestrianism, outdoor adventure gear, heritage arts, and environmental sustainability. Al Dhaheri stated that the exhibition has established itself as a primary economic driver for Abu Dhabi’s tourism and business sectors. The event hosts international auctions for falcons, purebred Arabian horses, and camels, which serve as a critical platform for commercial deals and direct investment for breeders and entrepreneurs. Economic and Cultural Impact The expansion aims to provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with access to global markets and international audiences.
