Khalifa University’s in-house AI learning platform has reduced administrative workloads for professors by 60 per cent, enabling faculty to pivot toward high-impact research and practical instruction. Speaking at the Ai Everything summit in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, 7 October, Professor Ebrahim Al Hajri, President of Khalifa University, confirmed the platform automated tasks including class preparation, exam design, and grading. Expanding AI Access to 220,000 Students The platform, which provides each student with an "agentic AI assistant" loaded with four years of course material, is now scaling beyond the university. According to Prof. Al Hajri, the system has already been deployed across private schools in Abu Dhabi, where 220 teachers have received specialized training. The next phase involves integration with the TAMM government services platform, extending access to approximately 220,000 private school students across the emirate. This expansion comes as the university shifts its pedagogical model. The platform allows for "reverse-engineered" curricula based on current market demands rather than static content. Data from student interactions with the AI also helps the university identify specific talents and leadership skills early in the academic cycle.
