Abu Dhabi has established a strategic life sciences corridor with California through a formal partnership with Biocom California, the largest life sciences trade association in the United States. The agreement, led by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), connects the emirate’s healthcare infrastructure with a network of more than 1,700 biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device companies. The partnership aims to facilitate the exchange of medical research, technological innovation, and investment between the two regions. By linking Abu Dhabi’s healthcare ecosystem with California’s established biotech clusters, the initiative focuses on accelerating the development of advanced therapeutics, genomic medicine, and health-tech solutions.
