The Abu Dhabi to Mumbai flight corridor has officially ranked among the top 10 busiest international airline routes globally, according to the latest aviation data from OAG. The surge in seat capacity follows a rapid expansion of flight frequencies by both UAE national carriers and Indian airlines, solidifying the capital’s role as a critical transit hub for South Asian travel. Rising Passenger Demand Recent data indicates that the route between Zayed International Airport (AUH) and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) now sustains over 450,000 seats per month across multiple operators. This volume places the sector alongside major global arteries such as London-New York and Dubai-Riyadh.
