Abu Dhabi Grand Prix set for 3 December season finale

The 2026 Formula 1 season will conclude at Yas Marina Circuit from 3 to 6 December, race organizers confirmed.
The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will conclude the 2026 racing season at Yas Marina Circuit from 3 December to 6 December, organizers confirmed on Sunday, 23 August. The race serves as the official finale for the Formula 1 World Championship, bringing the global circuit to its close in the UAE capital. Preparation and Schedule Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula One, stated that preparations for the season finale are progressing as scheduled. The four-day event includes practice sessions and qualifying rounds leading up to the main race on Sunday, 6 December. The announcement triggers the final phase of logistics and ticket operations for the 2026 season's concluding event. Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani, Under-Secretary of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, noted that the emirate has hosted Formula 1 annually since 2009.
