An Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) delegation arrived in Shanghai this week to formalize new economic agreements and expand industrial partnerships between the UAE and China. Led by Ahmed Khalifa Al Qubaisi, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, the mission targets increased cooperation in high-tech sectors, advanced manufacturing, and financial services. The delegation held high-level meetings with the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce and representatives from major Chinese corporations. These discussions focused on the Abu Dhabi Industrial Strategy, which aims to double the size of the emirate’s manufacturing sector to AED 172 billion by 2031. The visit serves as a platform to present investment opportunities within Abu Dhabi’s specialized economic zones to Chinese investors.
